US secures additional Pfizer vaccines...considers over disruption in other countries' procurement

 The U.S. government has decided to receive an additional 100 million doses of Corona 19 vaccine from Pfizer, a pharmaceutical company in the country. According to the Associated Press, Pfizer and Germany Biotech said on July 23 that they will deliver 100 million copies to the United States by July 31 next year in accordance with a new agreement with the US government.

 

 In July, the United States signed a 100 million-time contract for $ 19.50 per episode, buying an option to buy 500 million additional copies.Pfizer offered to offer additional information at the time, but the U.S. government refused, and the government recently decided to exercise options and began discussions.

There is also concern that the procurement schedule of other countries waiting for Pfizer vaccine purchases may be delayed.

 

 Pfizer’s ability to produce many vaccines next year is still a variable, and in this situation, the options of contracting parties can affect the supply of other countries.

In November, Pfizer said it plans to produce 50 million times by halving the amount to be produced worldwide by the end of this year, as it has difficulty in expanding manufacturing capacity and securing raw materials.
